The SPRI Group, together with the BDIH, makes the Advanced Materials Node available to Basque SMEs. The Node is a network of assets and experts working to show the opportunities for companies and demonstrating the value that advanced materials can provide to the Basque industry, especially in the automotive, metal working, aerospace and energy sectors, among others.
Given the current circumstances, with the de-escalation of the social isolation measures imposed by the COVID-19 crisis, production is slowly resuming, if you are a manager, or head of R&D, quality or production within these sectors, this crisis may provide the opportunity to explore how to introduce changes into your field.
Maybe you are asking yourself how can you improve the performance of the materials you use today in the face of increasingly demanding service requests, or how to find and apply new, more effective and durable coatings. Perhaps you are considering looking at incorporating the use of new materials and production processes, or methods of fusing more reliable and versatile materials adapted to new design and manufacturing strategies. But maybe you are also thinking about how to reduce the cost of your products while maintaining or improving their characteristics. You may even have been considering what kind of support services to extend the life of materials and determine their recyclability.
The BDIH’s Advanced Materials Node can help you meet these challenges. It provides the technical and human resources to guide you through the incorporation of a range of advanced materials and coatings production technologies into your company’s manufacturing or processing value chain, resulting in better performing, more durable and sustainable products.
