Project description
BIDEROAD seeks to provide management software / platform to operate and for the maintenance of road infrastructures, including the use of sensors to monitor the evolution of the road state by means of artificial vision and inertial sensors. The project will also incentivise the more efficient use of natural resources.
The platform will help to identify assets (signage, traffic lights, zebra crossings …), to monitor them (cracks in the tarmac, worn paint…), and to plan maintenance work.
The platform is currently up and running in two local councils and has been validated by Gipuzkoa Provincial Government.

BIDEROAD is intended for both public entities (local councils, provincial governments, etc.) and private companies (successful bidders for road maintenance, road infrastructure managers, etc.).
