CRIOKEEP: device for the cryogenic storage, transport and dosing of therapeutic products

Project fact sheet

CRIOKEEP

Vertical: Customised health

Project description

The effectiveness and cost of using advanced therapeutic products is currently limited by the need to use different consumables to comply with the protocols (storage, transport and dosage for the patient).

CRIOKEEP proposes a solution that includes in a single consumable devices the functions of cryogenic storage, transport and dosing of a therapeutic product to the patient, while reducing the number of processes. The risks of contamination, sample loss and loss of traceability with the counter-sample are thus eliminated…

The project – focused on its use in advanced therapies of customised medicine (cellular, gene….) – is based on a product that has been developed, tested and patented by Leartiker in collaboration with CUN, with the ensuing competitive advantage.

Tagline: Device for the cryogenic storage, transport and dosing of therapeutic products.

Financing needs:
CEO contracting: €65,000 a year
Manufacturing process development: €45,000 (excluding Leartiker support)
Certification costs (CE marking): €120,000 (excluding Leartiker and CUN support)
Costs of deploying commercial/productive action plan: €22,000 (excluding Leartiker support)
Costs of the stage of increasing product range (mould): €23,000 (excluding Leartiker support).
