SIAPS: visual inspection systems based on artificial intelligence and vision
SIAPS
Smart Industry
The SIAPS project is focused on inspecting joints and components to detect defects in parts with quality requirements. It therefore promotes the substitution of the manual inspection processes and with high environmental impact by other digital ones based on artificial intelligence and vision, and operable in hostile and changing environments.
Its competitive advantage lies in early defect detection for their fast correction, substituting specialist operator dependent processes (thus lowering costs), the possibility of the inspection of each part being fully traceable, and zero environmental impact.
Energy, construction, transport, capital goods and all sectors that require a unit or random inspection of parts, particularly welded ones.
Customers range from small companies with discrete processes to large companies with automated manufacturing lines.
