Zubacor is a company founded back in 1963. It is currently focused on the manufacture and assembly of different machines, the production of parts under drawing and the development of accessories for machine tools. With 60 years of experience, Zubacor has a portfolio of renowned clients, both national and international. The goal of this project is to optimize the tailstock manufacturing method thanks to a new hybrid and innovative process.
The standard tailstock manufacturing method creates toughness inconsistencies in the operational area of the piece. Thanks to a new hybrid process based on the idea of additive manufacturing, this hardness could be homogenized and the onset of cracks and fractures could be avoided, performing with increased precision and efficiency.
