After the last elections for the renewal of the governing bodies of AseBio, VIVEbiotech SL will occupy a seat in the new Board of Directors as Chair. AseBio brings together more than 730 companies that employ almost 100,000 people and invest more than € 400 million in R&D.
Its impact is 0.7% of GDP. The Gipuzkoan company believes that this fact demonstrates the trust of the rest of the partners in its project, and involves great responsibility and a great opportunity to work in the core of business decisions.
About VIVEbiotech
VIVEbiotech, located in the Gipuzkoa Science and Technology Park in San Sebastián, was created in 2015 and currently has a workforce of 37 people.
VIVEbiotech is in a growth phase with the objective of multiplying its production capacity by 30. To do so, it will build three new cleanrooms with large capacity bioreactors and plans to expand its workforce by 25%.
The company collaborates with world-class entities. The European Commission, through the EASME agency that analyzes the projects submitted to the “H2020-SME Inst-2016-2017” program, awarded the LENTISOMA project with the Seal of Excellence in competition with other European projects.
